Driver settlements
Friday's settlements, already added up.
The week's loads, fuel, tolls, advances and deductions land on each driver's settlement by themselves. Check it, close the week, and the driver has the PDF on their phone.
A load counts in the week of its pickup or its delivery date: your company picks which.
What's in it
Every way drivers get paid
Company drivers, owner-operators, teams and the people paid off their trucks, on the same weekly sheet.
Pay the way you agreed
A percent of the load, per loaded or empty mile, per extra stop, per load, or a mix. The driver card shows a worked example.
Fuel and tolls imported
Upload the fuel-card or toll export. Each line finds its driver by name or truck, and its week by date.
Recurring deductions
Weekly amounts or per mile, like a lease or insurance. Installments with a total, like escrow, stop when they're paid off. Pause one any week.
Advances that wait
An advance waits on the next open week until a closed settlement takes it. Move one a week later when the driver asks.
Teams and extra payees
Split the net with a co-driver. Pay a truck owner or a dispatcher a percent, per mile or per load, taken off the driver's pay or not.
Closed means closed
Closing numbers the settlement and locks its week. Reopening is logged, and payments, partial or full, bring the balance due to zero.
Pay rates
Type it the way you say it
Write the driver's pay the way you'd say it on the phone: “88%”, “$0.65/mi + $0.40/empty + $50/stop” or “$1500/load”. THENEKAS reads it into parts and shows how each load's pay was counted.
- Pay typed for one load replaces the rate on its open settlement
- A charge like detention can pay the driver a share
- Per-mile items can use the week's odometer miles instead of the loads' miles
For the driver
The PDF is already on their phone
Closed settlements show up under Pay in the driver app as PDFs to open, download or share. Pick the columns, sections and note in the accounting settings; the office and the app print the same layout.
- Year-to-date totals and grouped tolls, if you want them
- Closed settlements go to QuickBooks Online as bills, if you connect it
- Every payment on the settlement, with the balance due
How it works
A week, start to finish
- 1
Set the pay
On the driver card: the rate, and what the driver pays every week.
- 2
Import fuel and tolls
Upload the week's card exports; each line finds its driver.
- 3
Check the week
The loads by pickup or delivery date, plus advances, additions and deductions.
- 4
Close and pay
Close it to number and lock it, then record payments until the balance is zero.
