Tracking links

Send a link, skip the check call.

Copy a private link from the load card and send it to the broker. It shows the stops and appointment times, each stop time as the driver marks it, the papers you tick, and who to call. It never shows the rate.

Included in every plan. Live position and ETA on the link start with our iOS and Android driver apps (coming).

On the link

What the broker gets, and what they don't

Enough to stop asking “where's my truck?”, nothing that's between you and your driver.

Made from the load card

Copy the link once the load has a driver. A new link stops the old one, and you can turn it off at any time.

Stop times as they happen

Arrived, loaded and delivered appear on the link as the driver holds the button. The page refreshes itself every minute.

Papers you choose

Tick the BOL, POD or lumper receipt on the load card and the broker downloads it from the link. Never the rate con or the invoice.

Who to call

The driver's and the dispatcher's names and phone numbers, each with a Call button, and the dispatcher's email.

Never the rate

The link carries the carrier's name, MC and USDOT, the stops and the times. No money, ever.

Ends on its own

72 hours after the last drop is unloaded, or as soon as the load is cancelled. Nobody has to remember to turn it off.

On the load card

You see when the broker looked

The load card shows when the link was made and how many times it was opened. “Copy link with papers” sends the same link opening straight at the papers, which works for the factoring company too.

  • The first link asks the company to confirm its drivers know about tracking
  • Downloads are named by the load, never by the file's original name
  • A rejected paper leaves the link at once

Coming with the native apps

Live position and ETA

When our iOS and Android driver apps ship, the phone shares its position only while a load is on its way, from the first “On my way” to the last drop. The link then shows the truck on a map and an ETA from HERE truck routing with traffic.

  • Far from the next stop, the position is rounded to about a mile
  • Arrival and departure at each stop by GPS too; the driver's own tap always wins
  • If the phone's location is off, the office and the link say so

How it works

Four steps, once per load

  1. 1

    Assign the driver

The link can be made as soon as the load has a driver.

  2. 2

    Copy the link

From the load card's Tracking block. The first time, confirm that your drivers are told about tracking.

  3. 3

    Send it

Paste it into your email or text to the broker, or send the factoring company the link with papers.

  4. 4

    Let it answer

Stop times, papers and phone numbers stay current until 72 hours after the last drop.
